    Web Product Owner

    • Own the full product lifecycle of the website, from ideation to implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement.
    • Incorporate UX and SEO best practices in the execution of the website.
    • Conduct regular audits of the web, social media and mobile platform's content.
    • Conceptualise and implement the group's digital strategies, with particular reference to the website, social and mobile platforms.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders, including the graphic design team, content originators, brand managers, agencies and development teams, to understand user needs, business requirements and align the website strategy.
    • Define and prioritise website features and enhancements based on user feedback, industry best practices and business goals.
    • Create and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it is always up to date and prioritised.
    • Work closely with development teams to communicate requirements, validate technical feasibility and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
    • Conduct user research, analyse web analytics and gather feedback to drive website improvements  and ensure optimal user experience.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in web developments, user experience and digital marketing to drive innovation and improvement.
    • Conduct regular competitive analysis to identify opportunities and improve the website's competitive position.
    • Monitor website performance, including uptime, speed and security and take the necessary actions to address issues and ensure a seamless user experience.
    • Collaborate with external vendors and third-party providers to integrate new technologies, tools and services into the website.
    • Mange a small team of senior web and mobile app specialists.
    Requirements:
    • Essential pre-requisites:
    • Grade 12 (NQF 4)
    • Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology or business.
    • Minimum five years experience in website product management or related field.
    • Strong knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, Java script and CMS platforms ( such as Word press)
    • Proven experience in driving website strategy
    • Solid understanding of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
    • Strong project management skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
