Senior professional officer: telecommunications business analyst

TOE salary commencing from R961, 945 to R1, 350, 961 per annum

Requirements:

• A relevant bachelor’s degree/BTech/advanced diploma (with a national diploma)
• Five years plus proven record of accomplishment and experience in telecommunications strategic planning and business analysis, with particular emphasis on development of analytics systems based on industry-standard analytics platforms
• Experience in records management within a data-centred environment would be an advantage

Key performance areas:

• Work within a team of telecommunication and business professionals
• Participate in strategic and business planning in the Telecommunications Broadband Services branch
• Support strategy reviews, all business planning activities, and annual performance planning and KPI setting for the branch
• Engage in the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of a branch-wide business analytics environment
• Engage in the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of a branch-wide records management system
• Support internal processes, such as risk management and governance
• Support engagements with internal and external auditors and the auditor-general of South Africa
