About the roleWe are actively seeking skilled Procurement Professionals to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting our clients' business. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling purchase requisitions and executing purchase orders, catering to both simple and complex requests. Your expertise in procurement processes and attention to detail will ensure seamless operations for our valued client.
Requirements and skills- Knowledgeable of main procurement systems and processes.
- Has technical and supplier knowledge for relevant categories/geographies.
- Execution focuses with eye for detail.
- Responsible for PR/PO processing including follow-up on approval and supplier acknowledgement:
- Purchase order management - execution of complex material as well as service purchase order in collaboration with requesters and senior procurement colleagues following the respective requirements of order processing
- Supervision of 3rd party collaboration through the lifetime of the agreement including overseeing and executing changes to the agreement and/or respective purchase order
- Communication with requesters & documentation according to the requirements of the purchasing guidelines
- Support end-user to be compliant in procurement process
What We're Looking for in You: - Experience working on procurement systems is a must
- Coupa experience advantageous
- Experience in dealing with clients via the phone and mail on an international spectrum
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Show a strong desire to always help people and a positive attitude even when you are feeling grumpy (this is more important than anything else on this page!).
- Be extremely self-sufficient and able to make decisions on your own. Procrastinators need not apply!
- Great attention to detail.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Have excellent presentation skills.
- Be ambitious, a great team player and a nice person to work with.
Requirements- South Africa Citizenship or Permanent Residency is essential
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
- Proven procurement experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Own PC/laptop
- Reliable internet
- Available to work 8:00 to 5:00 (This is during the EU summer time and will be 1 hour later in the EU winter time)
