Ladles of Love Foundation is looking for a special person to fill the role of personal assistant to the organisations founder and CEO. This is not a job, but a vocation to embrace a career that is purpose driven and dedicated to changing and touching lives.
This position requires a dynamic, energetic person with excellent interpersonal skills, who is highly organised and loves administrative work. The candidate is required to support the CEO and tasks include but not limited to:
Acting as first point of contact, dealing with correspondence and phone calls in a polite and professional manner;
Diary management and oversight;
Maintenance of all necessary documents for funding and grant applications;
Research and scheduling of meetings and appointments with potential funders;
Sending meeting invites, reminders and any required documents;
Managing meetings and venues;
Liaising with staff, trustees, suppliers and sponsors;
Writing and sharing of meeting minutes;
Assist in preparation of AGM;
Creating presentations for meetings;
Helping compile required reports and various applications;
Drafting documents and emails;
Supporting event planning;
Filing and maintenance of all important documents;
Tracking and filing of staff leave and sick leave forms in the staff files.
Required:
Highly organised and focused;
An excellent command of the English language is essential;
A minimum of three years’ experience in similar role;
Excellent computer skills are essential;
Time management and ability to meet and manage deadlines;
Strong stress management capabilities;
Verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to multitask;
Flexibility, resilience, adaptability. CEO often works seven days a week and you may be called on for information or possible meetings;
The ability to work well with people and form strong relationships;
Problem solving and decision making;
Previous experience of working at a non-profit organisation will be an advantage;
Interpersonal skills;
Valid driver licence and own car is essential.
This role is a full time position based at the Ladles of Love head office.
Successful candidate must possess a valid drivers licence and own their own car, laptop and smart phone.
