• Valid PDP license
• English literate (Read, Write, Speak)
• Minimum Grade 12 qualification
• 5 - 10 years working in a Technical/Mechanical Environment
• 2 – 3 years working in a managerial capacity
• Good health & physically fit
• Sober habits (no prior history of excessive drinking)
• Willingness to work long hours/overtime/weekends

2. Plan & coordinate stocktakes with store man.
3. Investigate & rectify stock discrepancies.
4. Process internal orders in absence of store man.
5. Process material transfer documents
6. Material & cable quotations.
7. Assist to generate purchase orders in absence of procurement.
8. Assist with account queries.
9. Implement stock control systems.

1. Plan & coordinate service, repairs & maintenance of equipment with plant manager.
2. Manage repair & maintenance cost of equipment.
3. Process insurance claims.
4. Plan & coordinate container bookings.
5. Liaise movement of equipment with plant manager.
6. Assist with implementing control systems.

1. Plan & coordinate service, repairs & maintenance of vehicles with plant manager.
2. Manage repair & maintenance cost of vehicles.
3. Process insurance claims.
4. Assist plant manager to assign vehicles.
5. Arrange installation of tracking devices.
6. Arrange repairs of faulty tracking devices.
7. Assist with account queries.

1. Cost building & maintenance projects.
2. Plan building & maintenance projects & liaise with workshop and/or contractors.
3. Liaise building plans with engineers/draftsman.
4. Submit building plans to municipal building department.
5. Order material for building & maintenance projects.
6. Oversee processes during building & maintenance projects.
7. Conduct quality checks on completed work & sign off for payment.
8. Conduct minor plumbing & electrical repairs.

1. Plan & coordinate production activities with workshop manager.
2. Analyse construction plans & drawings & liaise with engineer/workshop manager if necessary.
3. Formulate costings & submit to tenders to generate a quotation.
4. Prioritize production timelines with the workshop manager.
5. Ensure material required is ordered and procured to meet production demand.
6. Manage cost and expenses of production processes.
7. Solve production problems.
8. Ensure to conduct final quality inspections.
9. Order workshop consumables & aggregates.

1. Time keeping.
2. Generate & process diesel orders.
3. Plan & coordinate truck bookings.
4. Plan & coordinate TLB & Excavator bookings.
5. Manage personnel matters and disciplinary issues.
6. Process scrap metal & negotiate prices with scrap dealers & arrange transport of scrap metal to dealers.
7. Monitor security checklists & sign off.
8. Arrange security requests & requirements.
9. Key custodian.
