Purpose of the role

Responsible for accurate data collection, processing and analysis. Assists in developing solutions in sprawling data sets to convert insights into strategic opportunities for the organization.

Planning and reporting

• R+F projections and post campaign reporting: Input schedules and interpret reach and frequency results.
• Optimised Planning: Build optimised TV media plans and write a rationale based on the planning approach.
• Revenue Projections, Audience Flows, Timeband Analysis
• Assistance in spot planning, minutage forecasting and format forecasts.
• Sales Packages: Assist in planning and packaging compelling TV spots.
• Tracking and Monitoring: Guaranteed audience and CPL plans: regularly optimise plans to achieve set objectives

Insights

• Use cross-tabulated research tools and reports from internal or external sources (TAMS, WizzAD, WARC, EGTA, Google etc) to extract insights and develop presentations based on client, format and station briefs.

Audience reporting

• Provide and update weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports and sales tools, including, but not limited ton and show profiles

o Duplication reports
o Digital streaming reports
o Station and show profiles
o TV landscape analysis

Requirements

• Media-related qualification
• 5-10 years’ work experience in a media planning/agency roll
• Understanding of market research and data analysis
• Knowledge of media measurement and analysis
• Knowledge of business operations and procedures
• Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel
• Telmar Suite: Surveytime, Radiomax, Transmit
• Nielsen planning tools: Arianna, Wizzad
• Digital tools SimilarWeb, Google Trends etc
