Marketing and Content Manager

Mid-level marketer with strong digital and social skills.Looking for an individual who is ready to take that next step in their already well established career.   You will need to have experience previously working with Lifestyle/Entertainment and aspirational brands.Understanding of Influencer Marketing and how to leverage added value (through partnerships, proposals etc- business-minded)This environment is fast paced, often paired with events- so sometimes disorganised.  Through your attitude and marketing efforts you are expected to ensure the association with the brand and it's offering support experiences that leave hosts and guests feeling positively memorable!
  • You will be driving the marketing activity for the business.
  • Expected to consider all channels but have expertise in content strategy (including curation, creation and coordination of content across media types).
  • Well-versed in social media engagement with an ability to adapt  respond
  • Aware of trends and able to respond and create material in a relevant way for the brand/business.
Generate awareness and drive interest continuously by ensuring the preparation and scheduling of compelling content across external communications.

  • Four years’ + experience working in digital marketing/social media marketing

  • Happy to collaborate and brainstorm.
  • Takes initiative.
  • Strong command of the English language (good grammar and spelling, eye for detail.)
  • Open to receiving both feedback and criticism and move forward to correct/improve or apply the thinking and perspective shared in order to better consider the strategy/brand/line of thinking.
In this role:
  • Inform a marketing plan/execute on strategy that may have been developed
  • Create content- posts, content calendar creation and roll out
  • Basic (quality) copy
  • Demonstrate value to the business in allocating budget to images/shoots
  • Ability to ideate, come up with concepts and generate/inspire thinking.
Nice to have:
  • Simple videography and editing ability (work/brief with videographers& photographers when needed)
Experience
  • Completed qualification in Social Media/Google/digital Marketing (ideally also qualification in Marketing/Brand management)
  • Ideally completed Google AdWords certification (and experience working with AdWords)
  • Understanding of Marketing strategy and ability to consider audiences
  • Understanding of relevance and selection of appropriate Social media platforms for the relevant audience
Preferred expertise:
  • Proficient in Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook Business, TikTok etc
  • Ability to build awareness & influence
  • Understanding of influencers (micro and nano influencers)
  • Spontaneous events & partnerships (budget for established influencers thru attendance at event or brand/product collaboration)
  • Good knowledge of Digital Advertising – including but not limited to Social, understanding of SEO and PPC
  • Advantageous: experience working with Data & Analytics (as related to Social Media efforts/campaigns)
Other areas of focus
- Key messaging and respect Strat guidelines
- Agency meetings- manage, feedback and monitor
- Be at events, engage with clients (B2C and B2B)
o Tastings…
o Consider/obtain client testimonials as well as internal testimonials/team member endorsements/success stories
- Propose original/interesting ways of compiling these (video, audio, etc with graphics) and share on the appropriate platforms/channels.
  • Liaise/work with other agencies
  • Uphold the integrity of the brand and ensure all brand comms are in line with the CI.
  • Experience in managing comms and several communities/Groups or Pages on appropriate Social Media platforms
  • Highly resourceful – in gaining an understanding of the Social media platform potential and restrictions.
  • Capture the creativity and craft of the business
  • Proven track record - two years’ experience in leading Content efforts for a brand/business
