We are looking for an ambitious and confident account manager with a love for all things marketing to join our team.

You must be passionate about building strong, long-term relationships with clients, thus producing integrated work for multi-sector clients. We’re looking for someone with solid agency experience, who can juggle multiple tasks while ensuring that work is delivered on time as per the promised schedule. You must have strong organisation and communication skills with both colleagues and clients, as well as be able to take initiative and show an outstanding client servicing background.

Hybrid working environment:
Please note this is a permanent position with a hybrid office working model - staff are required to work in-office 2 days a week and at home for the remaining 3 days.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Providing the studio team with detailed and insightful briefs, reviewing outputs, and managing their time efficiently.
• Be able to develop, rollout and manage marketing communication strategies as well as monitor the performance of those strategies, ensuring the metrics are on target.
• Ensure that project budgets are applied effectively and stay within their allocations.
• Organise and run regular internal and external client meetings.
• Manage relationships with suppliers.

Requirements:

• Marketing degree.
• Minimum three-plus years’ work experience in an advertising agency, digital account management will be preferable.
• Confident and articulate with both agency colleagues and clients.
• Creatively- and strategically-minded with a focus on being results-driven.
• Comfortable with handling briefs and team production.
• Excellent client communication.
• A problem-solver and decision-maker.
• Ability to multitask and handle a large volume of work and strict deadlines.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Great attention to detail.
• Highly organised and skilled at thinking ahead.
• Strong ability to work well under pressure
• Strong administration and coordination skills
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office
• Must have a valid drivers licence with own transport
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Contactable references and a stable track record
