Business Developement Manager
Our client is looking for a vibrant and experienced
sales/business development manager to join their company. The individual will be responsible for the sales function and developing a sales strategy to help grow their business by selling their digital suite to existing and potential clients.
Requirements:- At least 10 years’ experience in a business development or sales role
- A legal, actuarial or financial qualification
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience with B2B complex sales environments preferably in enterprise software solutions
- and digital applications
- Experience working with clients in the financial services industry (insurance industry an advantage)
- Understanding of financial services businesses
- Understanding of digital technology
- Strong grasp and understanding of commercial concepts
- Must be willing to travel in Africa
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Inherent drive and motivation to be successful
Responsibilities: - Manage, nurture and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities
- Identify strong potential prospects using initiative and creativity to generate lead opportunities
- Provide engaging and articulate information about value proposition to potential customers
- Identify business challenges and problems within potential customers
- Manage complex enterprise sales throughout the sales cycle
- Efficient management of the sales pipeline using existing defined processes as well as improvement on these processes
- Confidently participate in the preparation of proposals and the presentation of professional product demonstrations, face-to-face meetings, etc.
- Meet set sales targets
