Print manufacturing company within the digital and print-ready sector is looking for a DTP operator/graphic designer to join the team. the successful candidate needs to have experience in design, editing, layout and production of print-ready artwork. They will be responsible for developing concept, brochures, leaflets, folders, booklets, corporate branding, image retouching and mock-ups. They will need to be capable of managing social media platforms. If the candidate has experience with Kodak Prinergy - Workshop and Preps, this will be an added bonus. This is both and technical and creative role.
Requirements:
- Matric
- Diploma in graphic design
- Minimum one year's relevant experience
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and Acrobat
- proficient in Microsoft Office
- Creative
- Able to retouch images
- Able to get artwork print-ready
- Experience with WIX is a bonus
- Experience with Kodak Prinergy
- Able to outpu proofs, digital jobs nad press plates using Epson StylusPro 7900, HP Indigo Press 5000, Roland Versaworks and Screen CTP system (This experience is a bonus and training will be provided)
