Jennilee Peremore-Oliver is an award-winning media and communications professional, who started her career in 2009. In 2017 she founded the Communications Agency, Jenniemore (Pty) Ltd. She has worked with brands in the corporate, media and non-profit sectors.

I am a professional in the media industry with my Master's Degree in Applied Media, and a Bachelor's Degree in Media, Communication and Culture. During my undergraduate studies, I majored in English and Print Journalism, and during post-graduation I completed my research project in the Cultural Studies field. In addition to this I also completed a senior level Business certificate, the two-year Management Development Programme offered by the Nelson Mandela Bay Business School.

My experience has been focused on event organising, reputation management, crisis communication, project management, media liaison, strategic planning/communication and management, predominantly in the non-profit, advertising/radio sectors.

I started my career in public relations doing fundraising work for a non-profit organisation. After a successful internship, I was promoted to their Public Relations Officer. In 2012 I joined the regional commercial radio station Algoa FM as their PR practitioner, but after just one year, I was promoted to their Public Relations and Corporate Social Investment Manager, and I served on the Management team with the Senio Managers, joining in weekly management meetings and strategic engagements. I served as their spokesperson, speaking on behalf of the company with the media.

Now I am the Marketing Manager at the only investigative news brand in the Eastern Cape, Daily Dispatch. As a senior manager, I partake in all management meetings and I have a team of three people who report to me. I have a lot of experience working in the media industry and especially in high pressure situations. I have dealt with numerous crises situations and have been able to manage it successfully to the benefit of the companies that I represent. I am a high strategic individual and my passion is reputation management. I enjoy copywriting and developing the creative concepts for advertisements for print, for radio or briefing for videos.

Apart from, this I am a published writer, I have been published on prominent online and print publications in South Africa including Entrepreneur Magazine, The Media Online and BizCommunity. Some of these articles are included in my CV.

I am a highly ambitious, self-motivated and determined individual, always pushing myself to the next level and taking the brand, I represent with me.
