What we are looking for: An exciting opportunity for a highly-skilled, agile and intelligent individual to join the team as a human resource manager.

What you will do: You will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of human resources and administrative functions within the academy. Your primary responsibilities will involve developing and implementing HR policies, recruitment and onboarding processes, employee engagement initiatives, performance management and overseeing administrative operations. This position requires a combination of strong interpersonal skills, organisational expertise and a deep understanding of HR principles within a creative and educational environment.

What you must have:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, such as human resource management, business administration, organisational behaviour or a related field. (A Master’s degree or professional certification in SHRM or any globally recognised HR body may be an advantage)
• Proven experience with over six years of progressive experience as an HR Manager or a similar HR leadership role within the education, counselling or creative industry
•  In-depth knowledge of HR principles, labour laws and best practices
• Strong interpersonal, networking and communication skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels
• Excellent organisational abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficient in using HR information systems and other relevant software
•  Problem-solving mindset and ability to make sound decisions
•  High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information
•  Good understanding of academic operations and familiarity with curriculum development and delivery
• Excellent organisational and people management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives and demands
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and basic accreditation standards for educational institutions
• Passion for creativity, innovation and fostering an engaging learning environment
• Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving
• Adept at building and maintaining relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of current industry trends, best practices, emerging markets and technologies.
