The Oaks is a creative agency specialising in branding and graphic design, website design, events strategy, experiential communication, video and Film, 3D and 2D animation and motion graphics, sound design and more.
We are looking for a mid to senior creative designer with preferably five-plus years’ experience within branding or design agency. This role will be hands-on, working directly with the creative director and creative teams on cross-functional campaigns across different client brands. You must be a creative, unique thinker able to work on brilliantly executed brand executions and campaigns from start to finish. If you are passionate about storytelling and have a knack for bringing messages to life, we would love to connect with you!

Specific skills criteria::
- Recognised, tertiary diploma or degree in Information Design.
- Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
- Experienced in applying good visual design principles, such as good typography, good visual hierarchy, grid-based design and colour harmony.
- Highly proficient in Brand Conceptualisation and development with a proven ability to demonstrate Brand Voice.
- Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and MS Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word.
- Proficient in marking up content for Wordpress web design, developing and designing layouts and understanding basic web language, such as HTML and CSS.
- Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines.
- Animation skills and working in After Effects is a bonus.
- Comfortable working under pressure of tight deadlines – good time management and organisational skills.
- Able to balance many projects at once and easily transition between executing daily work and taking on larger, complex projects.
- Performance driven - Puts in sufficient effort to meet or exceed business and customer expectations both in terms of delivery and quality. Able to act without being prompted to. Demonstrates a sense of urgency, self-motivation, and ownership in work. Has a need for achievement. Achieves results.
