Agronomist Sales Manager

• Relevant Agricultural qualification (Degree/Diploma)
• Relevant experience in marketing and agronomy will be advantageous
• Valid drivers’ license
• Advanced computer skills (especially Excel)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Must be able to work independently and as a team
• Must be willing to work over weekends/overtime as well as travel if and when necessary

• Technical support and marketing of the products applicable to the area.
• Evaluation and promotion of new products.
• Link between the company, its agents and farmers ensuring that new and relevant information is conveyed.
• Plant, assess and harvest of research trails.
• Presentations during farmer days and study groups.
• Liaising with local and international collaborators to evaluate new cultivars where applicable.
• Responsible for managing sales which will be evaluated on the relevant budget for the branch.
• Involvement in month-end processes such as stock taking both at the branch and all consignment stock of the relevant branch.
